Believe That It Will Work Out
It’s Thursday, August 22, & Moon is in Pisces, in the Starspace or Nakshatra called Uttarabhadra until midmorning, then Revati. Pisces is the last sign of the natural zodiac & thus the Moon’s final destination, last frontier, this time ’round. Pisces is where life ends before it begins again in Aries (which it does tomorrow). It’s where we tap into the state beyond & between, which is what we do when we dream. It’s where we can experience our merging into all that is, feel both our bigness & our smallness. as I did when I crawled outta my tent in the middle of the night in the forest in Creede, Colorado, this past weekend & was gobsmacked by the starry starry starry skies.
Revati is ruled by Pushan, the cosmic shepherd, who guides lost animals home, considers himself their protector, their guardian. In Hawaiian, the word for someone who has animals as pets is “Kahu,” which can mean guardian, protector, steward, beloved attendant. A Kahu is someone entrusted with the safekeeping of something precious, something cherished. What a Kahu protects is not their property, it’s part of their soul. This asterism brings a lesson about all of us being connected on a soul level & being beloved guardians, Kahus, of one another, of human & nonhuman animals alike.
It’s the fourth lunar day (tithi), the fourth phase of the waning moon, which can make us feel unsupported, even thwarted, as if we have to bushwhack the trail all by our lonesome. We can thank Ganesha, lord of obstacles, who rules this tithi. Here’s the deal, tho: he not only tosses wrenches into our works, he also gives us the means to unwrench them—& he never gives us more than we can handle. He means to provoke us with friendly challenges, b/c it is by overcoming obstacles that we uplevel ourselves—if we can perceive them, as gifts, as opportunities.
“if you believe it will work out, you’ll see opportunities. If you believe it won’t work out, you’ll see obstacles.”—Jim Rohn
Thursday is ruled by hopeful Jupiter, who gives us faith that it will work out, that everything is working out just as it is meant to. And we’ll probably feel that more after Moon moves into Revati midmorning.
And that’s your daily bliss! Which is a sort of lunar weather report. May it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
