Vanilla, the Great Uniter?

Vanilla, the Great Uniter?

It’s Tuesday, October 15, & Moon is in Pisces, moving from the starspace or Nakshatra called Purvabhadra into Uttarabhadra midmorning MDT. Pisces vibrates with the frequency of our otherworldly existence. After turning our attention away from ourselves to the world at large under the sway of aquarius, under the sway of pisces we turn our attention to what lies beyond this world, beyond this mortal coil, which we can experience, get a glimpse of, even now, in the flesh. pisces is where we feel into the oneness of all there is, where we experience no separation—even momentarily.

I used to dab vanilla on my previous kitty brother & sister, Bhakti & Mukti (not pictured), which reminded them that they were one & the same & to treat each other thusly, which they did. Trying vanilla on Will & Lyra (pictured), who sometimes fight like, well, brothers & sisters—wish me luck!

How would it be if we all smelled like vanilla?

Purvabhadra is our “aha!” moment of inspiration, of intel from the divine; Uttara gives us a push to do something with that download, to not let it go to waste.

It’s the thirteenth lunar day (tithi), the thirteenth phase of the waxing Moon, until about 1 pm MDT, then the fourteenth. guess what? The last three tithis (a full moon is nigh!) connect us to the experience of what lies beyond this mortal coil! the thirteenth is said to remove all shortcomings & bring good juju. The fourteenth brings intensity, we may feel anxious, as moon approaches fullness. notice whether you feel this shift midday.

Tuesday is ruled by Mars, our warrior spirit, who knows that our true enemies, the ones truly worth fighting, live within, b/c of our warped thinking, b/c we let our emotions get in the way, b/c it’s easier to pick fights with others than with ourselves, b/c we think this will be the last war. But, as haruki murakami said, & as we surely know by now, “there is no war that will end all wars.” We get to remember that anger is “just” unprocessed pain.

“I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is b/c they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.”—James Baldwin

Let’s deal with our pain so others don’t have to, yes?

And that’s your daily bliss! Which is a sort of lunar weather report. May it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
